Nestor Insurance Services ("Nestor Insurance," "we," "us") is an independent insurance agency based in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. This policy explains what information we collect through nestorins.com (the "site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

If you become a client, insurance laws give you additional privacy protections. Our Client Privacy Notice describes how we handle nonpublic personal information related to your insurance.

Information We Collect

Information You Give Us

• Contact and quote requests. Your name, email, phone number, the type of insurance you're interested in, and details you choose to share about your business, household, property, vehicles or current coverage.
• Requests you start but don't finish. On our quote page, when you click "Continue" after the first step, we save your name, contact details, contact preference and the type of insurance you chose, so an agent can follow up if you don't get to finish. We don't save anything you type before you click Continue. We delete unfinished requests after 90 days.
• Your IT provider's contact details. If you ask us to send our cyber security questions to your IT provider and authorize us to contact them, we use the name and email you give us to send them a secure link to those questions only.
• Appointments. When you book a call or video appointment, the information you enter in the scheduling form.
• Your current policy information. If you choose to use our policy-sharing link, you sign in to your current insurance company through a secure policy-sharing service, and the policy and declarations information you authorize is shared with us.
• Life insurance quotes and applications. Our life insurance quoting and application tool is provided by a life insurance quoting platform. What you enter there (which can include your health, lifestyle and financial information) goes to that platform and to the insurance companies you choose to apply with, so they can quote and underwrite your policy. As your agent, we can see your quotes and applications to help you.
• Messages. Anything you send us by email, phone or text.

Information about other people. To quote or service insurance, you may give us information about household members, drivers, employees or others connected to your coverage. Please share it only if you're authorized to do so. We use it only to quote and service the related coverage.

Our applications ask for some details carriers need to quote, such as dates of birth, driver's license numbers and business tax ID numbers. We encrypt these when we store them, and we never send them by email. Please don't send Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, medical records or other sensitive documents through website forms. If we need that information to quote or service a policy, we'll arrange a secure way to collect it.

Vehicle lookups. If you enter a vehicle identification number (VIN) in an application, your browser sends only the VIN to a free federal government vehicle database to fill in the year, make and model.

Information Collected Automatically

• Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and security provider processes your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and similar technical data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Cookies. The site itself works without cookies. Optional analytics cookies are only set if you choose to allow them (see below). Your analytics choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every page.

Website Analytics

• Basic, cookie-free analytics (always on). Our website hosting provider counts page views, referring sites, and general device and browser types. It does not use cookies and is not used to identify you.
• Marketing analytics (only if you click "Allow analytics"). Sets cookies that show which pages are visited and how visitors arrived. If you later contact us through a form or booking link, those visits can be connected to your contact record in our CRM, which helps us understand what information was useful to you.
• Your choice. When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics cookies. "No thanks" means the marketing analytics isn't loaded. You can change your mind anytime with the Analytics preferences link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as "No thanks."
• We never put your quote answers or the contents of your messages into analytics.

How We Use Information

• To respond to your questions and contact you about the quote or review you requested.
• To prepare insurance quotes and compare coverage options from insurance companies we represent.
• To schedule and hold appointments.
• To service policies for clients, including certificates, changes and renewals.
• To operate, secure and improve the site.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to do what you asked or to run our business:

• Insurance companies and wholesalers we work with, to obtain quotes and place or service coverage.
• Comparative rating and quoting platforms that we use to send your information to multiple insurance companies at once so we can compare quotes.
• Our customer relationship management (CRM) system and agency management system, where we keep records of your requests, communications, quotes and policies.
• Other service providers that help us operate, under their own privacy and security terms, including our website hosting and security provider, appointment scheduling, policy sharing, life insurance quoting and applications, and our email, phone and document systems.
• Legal and regulatory reasons, such as responding to lawful requests or protecting our rights.

Third-Party Services and Links

Some features are provided by other companies, such as appointment booking, policy sharing, and life insurance quoting and applications. When you use those tools, their privacy policies also apply. The site also links to our social media and review pages, and loads its fonts from a third-party font service, which means your browser connects to that service's servers. We're not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites.

Calls, Texts and Emails

Service Messages

When you request a quote or appointment, or when you're a client, we may contact you by phone, email or text message about your request, quotes, policies, renewals, billing or claims. Our text messages are sent one-to-one by our staff; they are not automated or marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. If you'd rather not receive texts, just tell us or reply STOP.

Marketing Messages

Email. If we send marketing or educational emails, each one will identify Nestor Insurance Services, include our mailing address, and include an easy way to unsubscribe. We'll honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

Text messages. We will only send marketing text messages to people who have given us separate, express written consent to receive them, for example by checking an optional, unchecked box on a form. Consent is never a condition of getting a quote or buying insurance. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.

Calls. We return calls you request and call clients about their coverage. If we ever make marketing calls, we'll honor do-not-call requests and applicable do-not-call lists.

To stop any type of message, reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or contact us using the details below.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet insurance regulatory and recordkeeping obligations. Quote requests, including from people who don't become clients, are generally kept for up to seven years so they're available for insurance department audits. Records are then securely deleted.

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Requests

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information you've given us through the site, or ask us to stop contacting you, using the contact details below. Some information may need to be kept for legal or regulatory reasons. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date.
